Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled IT Admin to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security of systems. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, including system administration, networking, and cloud services. The IT Admin will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's technology needs and driving innovative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud services (AWS, Azure)
• Oversee system administration tasks across various operating systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX)
• Implement and manage RAID controllers for data redundancy and performance
• Design and maintain system architecture to support service-oriented architecture (SOA) and microservices
• Develop solutions using Pegasystems and ensure compatibility with existing systems
• Monitor system performance and implement load balancing strategies to optimize resource utilization
• Ensure information security through effective firewall management, VPN setup, and regular security audits
• Collaborate with development teams on CI/CD processes using tools like Jenkins and Git
• Troubleshoot issues related to computer networking, DHCP, DNS, and APIs
• Create scripts for automation using Bash (Unix shell), Python, or Shell Scripting
• Document system designs, configurations, and procedures for future reference

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven experience in system administration and IT management
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies (VMware, ESXi)
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture principles
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC processes
• Proficient in scripting languages (Python, JavaScript) for automation tasks
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools such as Kubernetes is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
