IS Specialist - Product Data Replication

Your role and responsibilities :

The IS Specialist responsible for Product Data Replication will ensure seamless synchronization and transfer of product-related data across multiple SAP systems and core PLM (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG) and core PLM system. This role involves maintaining data accuracy, resolving replication issues, optimizing performance, and supporting business requirements to ensure data consistency across PLM and SAP landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and manage SAP replication tools such as ALE, IDoc, SLT, or SAP Data Services for product data replication. Monitor replication processes to ensure timely and accurate data synchronization between PLM system and SAP instances.
• Resolve data replication failures, inconsistencies, and errors proactively.
• Ensure data quality and consistency during replication processes, adhering to organizational standards.
• Collaborate with Master Data Management (MDM) teams to maintain product master data integrity.
• Perform regular data validation and audits to identify and fix discrepancies.
• Configure SAP systems and interfaces to support product data replication requirements.
• Optimize data replication processes to reduce latency and improve performance. Support the integration of SAP with other systems and third-party tools.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, and product management, to understand data replication need.

Qualifications Education and Experience :

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience working with SAP systems, including experience with data replication processes. Proven experience with SAP modules such as MM, SD, or SAP MDG is a plus. Knowledge of PLM platform is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of SAP replication technologies: ALE, IDoc, SLT, or SAP Data Services. Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ERP, and integration technologies. Proficient in debugging SAP ABAP programs and analyzing IDoc/SLT logs for troubleshooting.
• Understanding of data governance, master data management, and SAP tables.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to manage priorities and work under tight deadlines. Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory) SAP Certified Application Associate in Data Migration or SAP Master Data Governance. ITIL Certification for IT Service Management.
