Job Location:

Role & responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain the quality management system and collaborate with third parties to obtain IATF 16949 certification for the company.
• Perform mechanical and visual inspections on incoming raw materials, sub-assemblies, and final products and assures the on-time clearance ok goods and as well the rejections disposal.
• Using inspection checklists, tools, guidelines, and standards, make sure that the requirements are being followed.
• Identify nonconforming material and initiate Nonconforming Material Reports (NCRs) and monthly management reports.
• Make sure that all inspection logbooks and records are kept up to date. as well as calibration records for inspection equipment.
• Participate in both internal and external Corrective Action Requests (CARs) by providing input.
• Guide the team for the drawing reviews for tolerance, equipment selections and SOPs.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• If necessary, conduct on-site inspections at vendor locations.
• Collaborate with various departments (SCM, PPC,Production, Engineering, Purchasing, etc.) to achieve quality and company goals.
• Ability to plan and manage workforce and resources with sufficient efficiency to meet organizational goals on schedule.
• Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement in supplier processes such as Lean, Six-Sigma, Poka-Yoke (Error Proofing), Measurement System Analysis and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
• It is essential to have structural & critical thinking, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Create departmental KPIs in accordance with business KPIs and keep monitoring the same.

Educational Qualifications & Experience (for the job/ of the candidate)

Diploma Mech / Automobile or above bachelors degree is preferred.

• Hands on experience for lab equipment's.
• Knowledge about sheet metal parts

Years of Experience: 5-10 Year

Mandatory skills:

Functional:

• Able to solve critical and complex professional problems creatively and efficiently with professional concepts and thorough understanding of the company's objectives
• Specific knowledge of quality management systems, e.g., ISO 9001, IATF16949, TQM, VDA, 14001 etc.
• Able to independently manage Lab Day to day activities and guide newcomers to DWM.
• Familiar with customer requirements in the automotive industry, technical standards of lithium battery industry, battery products and has knowledge of the production process
• Familiar with Supplier reports and data management's, action plan creations and immediate containment actions.
• Familiar with the Lab equipment calibrations and office TPM activities
