Key Responsibilities: - Ensure QMS/IATF/VSA/Customer specific requirements. - Ensure all products or services meet customer and regulatory standards. - Analyze and improve production or service processes to increase efficiency and quality. - Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to address quality issues. - Promote continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen. - Lead and manage a team of quality inspectors, analysts, and auditors. - Provide training on quality standards, procedures, and best practices. - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - Foster a culture of quality within the organization. - Work with MSIL or automotive customers to understand quality expectations and ensure their requirements are met. - Must have full knowledge of PPAP, MSA, SPC, CAPA, PFMEA, etc - Must have full knowledge of Plastic Injection molding & Sheet Metal process. - Develop, implement, and maintain QMS documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions. - Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with QMS standards and identify opportunities for improvement. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. - Ensure proper training and awareness of QA/QC/QMS processes among employees. - Monitor and analyze key quality metrics, providing reports and recommendations to management. - Coordinate and support external audits and inspections by certification bodies and customers. - Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to drive quality improvement. - Support the development of quality plans for new products and processes. - Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in quality management. - Handling of First Party Second Party and Third party audits - Good Exposure of ISO9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 implementation. - Presentation skills. - Conducting management review. - And full hand holding in MACE/MSIL VSA 19 points audit Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or Manufacturing field. - Proven experience as a Quality Manager or in a similar quality-related role. - Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards. - Must have past experince in MACE/MSIL VSA green audits handling. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with teams. - Proficiency in quality tools and techniques such as Six Sigma, Lean, and FMEA. - Familiarity with quality management software and audit management systems. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Role & responsibilities * Manage good relationship with factories top management * Manage Junior team members & contribute considerably to the achievement of team objectives. * Over all responsible for all activities of Production department. * To ensure proper utilization of Man, Machine, Material & Method. * Set and validate moulding process parameters. * Troubleshoot moulding defects (flash, short shot, burn mark, etc.). * Regular monitoring of target efficiency, utilization, %age rejection of production department. * To co-ordinate with PPC department for smooth production. * Regular monitoring & proper usage of regrinding material. * Regular involvement in VA-VE activities in the plant. * To co-ordinate & facilitate for all projects running in the dipartment. * To ensure good quality production of the parts in the department. * Regular involvement in plant improvement activities / Kaizens / 5S / Projects etc. * Regular monitoring of customer related issues / countermeasures and action plans. * To co-ordinate with stores / machine maint. / mould maint department for availability of material, consumables etc. and for trouble shooting / improving the up time of mould/machine. * To co-ordinate with dispatch department for smooth supplies to the customer and to avoid defaults in term of quantity / time. * Ensure in-process quality as per control plan. * Coordinate with Quality team for first-off approval and corrective actions. * Maintain production logs, process sheets, and downtime records. * Oversee mould change activities ensuring minimal downtime. * Ensure proper machine maintenance coordination with maintenance team. * Drive 5S, Kaizen, and lean manufacturing practices. * Participate in root cause analysis (8D, Why-Why). * Guide and train operators and setters. * Ensure safe working practices on shop floor. * Any other tasks assigned by the Management. Preferred candidate profile * Strong knowledge of injection moulding machines * Experience in Automobile Sector is Must. * Experience in material handling (PP, ABS, Nylon, PC, POM, filled materials, etc.) * Good understanding of mould design basics and troubleshooting * Preparation & Implementation of VSA, MACE activities, ISO/IATF, EMS, OHSAS documentation. * Hands-on with production data analysis and OEE improvement * Strong leadership and communication skills
