IoT R&D Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities

As an IoT R&D Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, prototyping, and developing IoT devices by working across hardware, firmware, and cloud integration.

You will be involved from concept to deployment, contributing to innovation at every stage.

• Research, design, prototype, and test electronic circuits and IoT devices

• Interpret and implement datasheets, schematics, and BOMs

• Interface with sensors and communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, Modbus)

• Develop firmware for microcontrollers (ESP32, Raspberry Pi, ARM-based MCUs) in C/Python/MicroPython

• Integrate devices with cloud platforms, APIs, and databases

• Optimize power consumption for battery/solar-powered devices

• Debug and troubleshoot hardware and firmware for reliability and efficiency

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for rapid prototyping and product scaling

What We’re Looking For

• Strong foundation in electronics and circuit design

• R&D-driven mindset with the ability to design custom sensors and circuits

• Hands-on prototyping skills using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and lab equipment

• Practical experience with wireless communication & industrial protocols (Modbus, RS485, CAN)

• Familiarity with cloud integration technologies (MQTT, WebSockets, Flask, APIs) –

preferred

• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills

• A startup mindset – adaptable, self-driven, and eager to innovate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
