IoT Automation Engineer

As an Automation Engineer/IoT Data Extraction Engineer at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with stakeholders, conducting feasibility studies, and efficiently designing, developing, and maintaining programmable logic controller (PLC) systems. Your responsibilities will include PLC/HMI programming, installation of automation equipment such as material handling equipment, storage & conveyor systems, integration with other special purpose machines, trial & troubleshooting during installation, post-machine startup support, closure of improvement points, and equipment handover to customers. Your role will also require a deep understanding of machine connectivity, networking, and system integration. Key Responsibilities: - Work on PLC, HMI & SCADA programming of factory automations and machine building, especially with Mitsubishi-based controllers. - Design and develop PLC programs using languages like Ladder Logic. - Collaborate with team members to integrate PLC systems with other automation systems. - Communicate specific requirements with suppliers and monitor the development process. - Apply strategic thinking, strong execution orientation, and problem-solving approach. - Ensure knowledge of codes, standards, and best practices while designing LV control systems.
