Job Summary:

iOS Lead Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Technical decision-making: selecting libraries, defining module boundaries.
• Mentor senior developers, conduct code reviews, enforce best practices
• Collaborate with product, design, QA, backend to deliver high-quality features
• Lead initiative for improvements (refactoring, modularization, performance)
• Ensure robust CI/CD, release pipelines, and app lifecycle management
• Process improvement: suggestions on enhancing code quality

Primary Skills:

• 8-16 years of iOS development experience with strong expertise in Swift, UIKit, and SwiftUI.
• Proficiency with Combine, Swift Concurrency (async/await), and Core Data.
• Lead and mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best coding practices.
• Design and implement modular, testable, and reusable components using MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers to deliver high-impact features.
• Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing for faster, reliable delivery.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Good To Have
• Exposure to Fastlane, Bitrise, or Azure DevOps for automation.
• Familiarity with App performance profiling tools (Instruments, Xcode Metrics).
• Experience cross-platform technologies like React Native or Flutter.

Communication:

• Facilitates team and stakeholder meetings effectively
• Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
• Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
• Astute cross-cultural awareness and experience in working with international teams (especially US)
