You should also possess a good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX, along with cross-browser compatibility issues and workarounds. Collaboration with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API is essential. Proficiency in code versioning tools like Git and familiarity with Jira is required. You will be responsible for translating mock-ups/designs into functioning front-end interfaces. Understanding the software development life cycle (Agile) is crucial. You should demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. A strong passion for building high-quality systems using software implementation best practices is necessary. You should be aware of performance tests and have the ability to work effectively both in a team environment and independently.
