Investment Research Intern - Emerging Asia Equities

Minerva Asset Advisors is looking for Investment Research Intern to help us in evaluating listed equity opportunities within Emerging Asia (ex-India). This role could grow into a generalist analyst role with specific focus on these markets. The role is based out of our Gurugram office and would support analyst team and the PM. This is at least a 6-month engagement and we are seeking someone who is highly driven to excel in security selection. We are seeking a candidate who exhibits the following:

• Above average understanding of financial accounting
• Ability to solve obscure problems, often with limited/no information at hand
• Ability to insulate oneself from external noise
• Resourcefulness
• Discipline of a long distance runner
• Enterprising, and can work in small teams
• Understands the significance of disagreements

The ideal candidate would have recently received his/her undergraduate degree. Name of school(s) or prior employer(s) on your resume doesn't matter. We are seeking a smart and hungry candidate that can potentially align with our investing culture and embrace it.
