As an Investment Analyst at StellarNOVA Ventures, you will be a key player in a tech-driven, innovation-focused investment group that is dedicated to creating and funding transformative startups in India and underserved emerging markets. Your role will involve scouting early-stage tech startups, conducting due diligence on potential investments, building financial models, collaborating with portfolio companies, and actively engaging in India's tech ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include: 1. Deal Sourcing & Networking: - Proactively scout early-stage tech startups aligned with the investment thesis. - Build strong relationships with founders, accelerators, incubators, and industry leaders to source high-quality deals. - Represent StellarNOVA Ventures at startup events, pitch sessions, and networking opportunities. 2. Due Diligence & Investment Analysis: - Conduct detailed financial and operational due diligence on potential investments. - Analyze business models, market dynamics, and unit economics to identify growth opportunities. - Prepare clear and concise investment memos and presentations for the investment committee. 3. Financial Modeling & Valuation: - Build robust financial models to evaluate investment opportunities and forecast returns. - Assist in valuation analysis and scenario planning for potential portfolio companies. 4. Portfolio Engagement & Support: - Collaborate with portfolio startups to track key metrics and drive their growth. - Provide strategic support in areas such as fundraising, market expansion, and operational improvement. 5. Ecosystem & Community Building: - Actively engage in India's tech ecosystem to identify trends and emerging opportunities. - Contribute to StellarNOVA Ventures" thought leadership through blogs, insights, and social media posts. The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech or similar technology background (MBA preferred), 0-2 years of experience in Venture Capital, Growth Equity, Consulting, Investment Banking, or Startup Ecosystem roles, exceptional networking and interpersonal skills, strong financial acumen, critical thinking abilities, and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
