Investment Analyst – Equity Research (India & Global Equities)

We are hiring a high-energy Investment Analyst for a leading Indian company with group revenues of ₹500 crore. The company is India’s largest industrial ball bearing business, serving top Indian clients across major industries.

Analyst Role Overview:

The analyst will support equity research across Indian and global public markets. This role is ideal for someone passionate about long-term investing, accounting, and deep fundamental research. Key responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining detailed financial models
• Studying annual reports, filings, and conference call transcripts
• Analyzing industry structure, competitive dynamics, and long-term business quality
• Conducting balance sheet, cash flow, and footnote-level analysis
• Identifying key risks and evaluating management strategy and capital allocation
• Preparing 1 page concise, insight-driven research notes and presentations

What attributes we are looking for:

• Passion for investing and fundamental business analysis
• Strong accounting and financial statement skills
• 1–2 years of equity research / investment experience preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail and strong discipline on timelines

Location

• Kolkata preferred; remote considered for exceptional candidates
