Investment Accounting Manager

As an Investment Accounting Manager at BDO RISE, specifically for FOS Family Office in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, your role will be crucial in ensuring accurate investment accounting and providing support to the team for complex entries and reconciliations. You should possess hands-on experience in both investment and general ledger accounting, with a solid grasp of consolidated concepts and private equity accounting. Key Responsibilities: - Perform investment accounting tasks using platforms such as Sage, QBO, Geneva, Investran, etc. - Execute consolidated accounting concepts by handling eliminating entries. - Manage private equity accounting activities. - Oversee wealth enterprise accounting, including entity cost allocation. - Supervise trust and foundation accounting processes. - Understand basic tax treatments related to investment accounting. - Utilize your diverse experience in investment and personal accounting, especially within family enterprises. - Take on a reviewer role and manage staff and projects effectively. - Utilize strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills to tackle complex accounting challenges. - Demonstrate excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with the team. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 9 years of experience in US accounting. - Proficiency in general ledger accounting. - Hands-on experience with investment accounting platforms. - Familiarity with consolidated accounting concepts. - Knowledge of private equity accounting principles. - Experience in wealth enterprise, trust, and foundation accounting. - Understanding of basic tax treatments. - Previous experience in a reviewer role and staff/project management. - Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. In addition, if you have experience with investment performance platforms like Black Diamond and accounting systems such as Sage and QBO, along with a proven track record in investment accounting for family offices or similar settings, it would be considered a valuable asset.
