Role & responsibilities

maintaining accurate stock levels, managing inventory systems, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations

Preferred candidate profile

Inventory management:
Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts and full inventory audits, and update inventory records using tracking software.
Discrepancy resolution:
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies, such as stock shortages or damage issues.
Reporting:
Generate inventory reports for management, detailing stock status, turnover, and other key metrics.
Organization:
Ensure organized storage systems, proper labeling, and efficient use of warehouse space.
Coordination:
Collaborate with purchasing, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth flow of goods and manage stock replenishment.
Compliance:
Adhere to all safety, health, and inventory control procedures.
Forecasting:
Assist in forecasting inventory needs and planning for replenishment to avoid stockouts.

Required skills and qualifications

Proven experience in inventory control, stock management, or a similar warehouse role.
Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, WMS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and organizational ability.
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift merchandise, with physical requirements depending on the role.
Excellent communication skills.
