Job Description

Your role: As part of the 2026 Off-cycle Internship Program within the Global Internal Audit (GIA) business at UBS, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference by reviewing remediation actions completed by the business. You will gain an in-depth understanding of the bank by dealing with issues from all functions and locations. Additionally, you will learn and apply auditing procedures to assess the effectiveness of the control environment. Collaboration with colleagues in Issue Assurance and across GIA will be essential to building and maintaining constructive relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Furthermore, you will identify opportunities to simplify processes, leveraging the latest technology and developments in AI to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Your team: You will be working in GIA, an independent function that supports UBS in achieving its strategic, operational, financial, and compliance objectives. As a member of the global issue assurance team during your internship, you will be responsible for conducting independent assurance reviews of non-financial risk (NFR) Issues. The team evaluates the design, operating effectiveness, and sustainability of remediation actions taken by management. In addition to issue assurance reviews, you will contribute to cross-functional GIA initiatives, projects, and audits, collaborating with colleagues across multiple global locations.
