Position Title: Marketing Intern (Mechanical Engineering Background)

Monday to Friday – 9.30 am to 6.30 pm

Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in marketing strategies and tactics within the mechanical engineering industry. The ideal candidate needs to have a passion for both marketing and engineering, with the ability to apply their technical knowledge to marketing initiatives.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in developing and executing marketing campaigns targeting the mechanical engineering sector.

2. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and potential opportunities for growth.

3. Collaborate with the marketing team to create content such as blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, and social media posts tailored to mechanical engineering audiences.

4. Support the creation and optimization of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and product documentation.

5. Assist in managing digital marketing channels, including email campaigns, social media platforms, and website content.

6. Analyse marketing data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.

7. Provide administrative support to the marketing department as needed, including organizing meetings, maintaining databases, and coordinating events.

8. Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in both marketing and mechanical engineering.

Skill Set:

1. Strong interest in marketing with the ability to apply engineering principles to marketing strategies.

3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

5. Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms is a plus.

6. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.

7. Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

8. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
