Experience / Age

  1. Must have handled Business Development in Transmission line Substation and distribution (National and International).
  2. Pre and Post documentation knowledge for bid.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components.

Qualifications

  1. Strong knowledge of business development strategy for the Transmission and distribution EPC
  2. 15+ years of experience in Transmission and Distribution EPC Business development profile.

4. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, BE/B. TechJob Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities in EPC Preparing tenders for Substation and distribution network projects for various countries like Africa, Gulf & SAARC Countries
  • Hands-on experience in tendering, procurement and managing project activities entailing Resource Management, Work Plan Preparation with great success of delivering projects of diverse & complex nature in Africa, Gulf & SAARC Countries Responsible for Tender Search, Preparation of tender synopsis, coordinating with finance department for Tender Fee, EMD, BG and registration on any e-procurement portals.
  • Responsible for business development in Africa, Gulf & SAARC Countries.
  • Generate Leads and track the upcoming business opportunities & follow up.
  • Decide marketing strategies based on the size and value of the project.
  • Meetings with Client to get/check financial and technical Qualification criteria.
  • Interaction with the Clients/Consultants from pre-qualification, enquiry stage up to Contract signing.
  • Coordination with tendering Team and technical support teams for preparation of technical and commercial bids.
  • Arrange local country cost of items/material/machinery/consumable to be procured/hired locally in the country of bidding for project cost estimation.
  • Responsible for all activities (commercial as well as technical) from scratch to Signing of Contract. Preparation of competitive bids & techno commercial contracts to participate and win tenders.
  • Utilizing the contacts with vendors to extract suitable technical and commercial inputs required for precise price estimation and overall cost optimization.
  • Responsible for cost estimation, cost calculation, and final tender costing including management approval
  • Prepare a detailed tender SWOT synopsis of Tender/Proposal/PQ/EOI and discussion with management for approval.
  • Follow-up with the client/utilities for Post tender & Pre award activities.


  • Responsible for post tender clarification till signing of contract and handing over to project team.
  • Coordinating with inter-departments, vendors & stakeholders using effective and pertinent communication, to resolve issues and expedite matters.
  • Responsible for Bidding, competitors and pricing analysis for getting better business
