International Sales Manager - Export

What you will do:

• New Business Development of agri-commodities rice, spices, DDGS
• Conducting market research to identify trends, pricing fluctuations, and demand-supply dynamics in the agricultural commodities market
• Assessment of global opportunities
• Commercial negotiation & order finalization.
• Developing strategic relationship with stakeholders Negotiating contracts with suppliers, buyers, and intermediaries for the purchase and sale of agricultural commodities
• Monitoring performance in quality, cost & delivery
• Coordination with the logistics and finance team & ensuring smooth operations
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, trade laws, and industry standards governing the trade of agricultural commodities.

This is not solely based on whether a candidate has previously done similar work. We're looking for someone dynamic with the below qualities in generous quantities to perform well in this role -

• Previous experience with International business / Exports in a company with a sizeable business (> 100cr business per annum)
• Prior experience in working in markets of Middle East, Africa & South East Asia
• In-depth knowledge of Rice (basmati and non- basmati) as a commodity & international market
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially MS PowerPoint & MS Excel
• Preferred relevant experience of 5-7 years
• The candidate must have a Graduation degree in any stream or diploma course in International Business. Candidates with an MBA degree will be preferred
• Strong negotiation skills
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
