Job Title: CAD Designer Intern

About Us:

At Verve Textiles, we specialize in creating premium decorative fabrics for upholstery, drapery, cushions, and other home décor applications. Our designs transform living spaces with inspirational textures, innovative finishes, and refreshing colors. We’re looking for a passionate CAD Designer Intern to join our creative team and help us set new trends in home fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist our design team in creating and modifying CAD patterns, repeats, and layouts for upholstery, drapery, cushions, and decorative fabrics.
• Develop colorways, textures, and technical specifications for digital patterns.
• Convert hand sketches, mood boards, and inspirations into precise digital formats using CAD software.
• Support in preparing trend boards, design stories, and digital catalogues for client presentations.
• Help maintain and update the CAD design library for internal and client use.
• Collaborate with senior designers to ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, and production standards.
• Provide fresh ideas and contribute to seasonal collections and special projects.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Interior Design, or related fields.
• Proficiency in CAD & design software: NedGraphics / Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop / CorelDRAW / AutoCAD or equivalent.
• Understanding of textile repeats, weaving, prints, embroidery layouts, and color palettes.
• Keen eye for detail, texture, and design aesthetics.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Enthusiasm to learn about innovative finishes and high-end home furnishings.
