Intermediate QA Analyst

The Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst position at Citigroup involves participating in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities. Some of your key responsibilities will include: - Utilizing knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify necessary system enhancements - Consulting with users, clients, and other technology groups to recommend programming solutions and support customer exposure systems - Applying fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications - Analyzing applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conducting testing and debugging - Serving as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts - Identifying problems, analyzing information, and recommending and implementing solutions - Resolving issues by selecting solutions through acquired technical experience and guidance - Operating with a limited level of direct supervision - Exercising independence of judgment and autonomy - Acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to senior stakeholders and/or other team members As an ideal candidate for this role, you should have: - 2-5 years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry - Intermediate level experience in an Applications Development role - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities - Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements Education requirement: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience Please note that this job description provides a high-level overview of the work performed, and additional job-related duties may be assigned as required.
