Interior Site Supervisor

Job Summary

The Interior Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of interior construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to proactively solve problems while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities1. Site Management

• Supervise and coordinate all interior trades, including carpentry, drywall, painting, and finishing works.
• Conduct routine site inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality, and verify compliance with safety standards.
• Implement and enforce site rules, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

2. Team Management

• Lead and manage site staff, subcontractors, and labor teams.
• Provide on-site guidance, training, and performance feedback to improve skill levels.
• Promote a positive, collaborative, and productive work environment.

3. Quality Control

• Ensure all work aligns with project specifications, drawings, and quality benchmarks.
• Identify, document, and resolve defects, deficiencies, and non-conformities.
• Conduct regular quality checks and submit detailed inspection reports.

4. Safety and Risk Management

• Implement and maintain the site-specific safety plan and procedures.
• Conduct safety orientations, daily toolbox talks, and safety training sessions.
• Investigate safety incidents or near misses and report findings to management.

5. Communication and Coordination

• Coordinate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients.
• Oversee material delivery schedules, on-site storage, and inventory management.
• Provide accurate progress updates, daily reports, and required documentation.

6. Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting

• Address site-related disputes, conflicts, or challenges promptly.
• Resolve technical issues, defects, or design inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with the project team to develop practical and timely solutions.

7. Administrative Tasks

• Maintain accurate site records, logs, and documentation.
• Track and report labor hours, manpower productivity, and material usage.
• Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control activities.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in interior construction supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
• Proficiency in project management tools/software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
