Interior / Joinery production supervisor

You will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process of interior furniture products from inception to completion. You will ensure that production schedules are met, quality standards are upheld, and safety protocols are followed throughout the manufacturing process. - Manage and coordinate daily production activities, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation. - Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and adherence to quality standards. - Implement strategies to optimize production workflow and minimize waste. - Conduct regular inspections of furniture products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. - Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed. - Collaborate with the quality control team to maintain high product standards. - Supervise and motivate a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to ensure performance goals are met. - Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement. - Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members. - Enforce safety guidelines and procedures to create a safe working environment for all employees. - Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. - Investigate and report any incidents or accidents promptly and implement preventive measures. - Manage inventory levels and oversee material usage to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency. - Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to coordinate material deliveries and maintain adequate stock levels. Proven experience (X years) in furniture manufacturing or related industry, with a strong understanding of production processes and techniques. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in supervising and motivating a team. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in manufacturing environments. Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
