Interior Designer (Vehicle Design)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing automotive interior, overall interiors and components such as Instrument panel, HVAC, and SRS systems. This will involve conducting initial research, ideation, and creating renders. You will also be required to create 3D and 2D visualizations, focusing on quality and aesthetics. Collaboration with engineering, QA, and other teams is essential to design and develop vehicle interiors effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design automotive interior, overall interiors, and components - Create 3D and 2D visualizations - Develop part designs with emphasis on quality and aesthetics - Collaborate with engineering, QA, and other teams to design and develop vehicle interiors Qualifications Required: - Masters degree (M Des) in Automobile design, industrial design, product design, or equivalent - Proficiency in 3D form sketching and renders generation - Basic knowledge of surfacing and 3D modeling - Familiarity with 3D software such as ALIAS, Rhina, and Surfacer would be an added advantage - Ability to study and benchmark to identify future trends in interior design - Experience in mood board and concept generation based on user research, benchmarking, and trend mapping for automotive interior products.
