Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and design interior layouts for residential and commercial real estate projects.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate interior designs into overall building plans.
Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color palettes that reflect brand standards and buyer preferences.
Prepare and present mood boards, concept drawings, 3D renderings, and sample boards.
Manage interior design timelines and budgets across multiple projects.
Visit job sites to oversee installation, ensure quality, and provide design direction during construction and fit-out phases.
Conduct market research to stay informed on design trends, materials, and local buyer preferences.
Work with marketing and sales teams to stage model units and showrooms for promotional purposes.
Ensure all designs comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and accessibility requirements.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proven experience (3+ years) in interior design, preferably in real estate development or architectural firms.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
Strong understanding of construction documentation and project lifecycle.
Excellent project management, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to balance creative vision with budget and timeline constraints.
