Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose

interior design development, technical detailing, quantity take-offs, and budgetary cost estimation

Key Responsibilities

Interior Design & Detailing

Prepare
interior layout plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings
Develop
working drawings
suitable for site execution
Ensure designs align with:
Client requirements
Project scope
Site conditions
Revise drawings based on approvals and design changes

Prepare
accurate quantity take-offs (QTO)
from approved drawings
Develop
detailed BOQs
for interiors including finishes, carpentry, partitions, furniture, ceilings, etc.
Ensure BOQs are:
Technically accurate
Scope-aligned
Revision-controlled

Cost Estimation (Design Support Scope)

Prepare
budgetary / indicative cost estimates
based on:
Approved designs
Standard market benchmarks
Historical project data
Analyse design options and highlight
cost impact of design changes
Support management in
budget feasibility decisions
