Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design Concept Development
Create innovative and functional design concepts based on client requirements.
Ensure designs align with aesthetic preferences, budget, and space functionality.
Client Consultation
Understand client needs, lifestyle, and vision.
Present mood boards, sketches, and 3D visualizations for approval.
Space Planning
Optimize layouts for efficiency, comfort, and compliance with building codes.
Incorporate ergonomics and accessibility standards.
Material & Finish Selection
Choose appropriate materials, colors, textures, and finishes.
Ensure durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

Technical Responsibilities

Detailed Drawings & Documentation

Prepare CAD drawings, floor plans, elevations, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with architects and engineers for structural and MEP integration.

2 Budgeting & Cost Estimation

Prepare accurate cost estimates and manage budgets.
Source vendors and negotiate pricing.

3 Compliance & Safety

Ensure designs meet building codes, fire safety, and environmental regulations.

Additional Skills

Strong knowledge of design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.).
Awareness of current trends and sustainable design practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
