Senior Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the interior design process from concept development through to execution, including presentations, space planning, material selection, FF&E specifications, and documentation.
• Translate client needs and project requirements into functional and aesthetically compelling designs.
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, managing timelines, budgets, and design integrity.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders throughout all project phases.
• Lead client presentations and maintain ongoing client communication to ensure satisfaction.
• Prepare detailed drawings, mood boards, specifications, and schedules for all phases of design.
• Review and approve shop drawings, materials, and construction samples.
• Mentor and guide junior designers and design assistants.
• Stay updated on design trends, materials, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in interior design (residential, commercial, or hospitality).
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools (e.g., Enscape, V-Ray, Lumion).
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture design, and lighting.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of local building codes, ADA requirements, and permitting processes (as applicable).
