Job Description

Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, preferences, and budget for the project. Develop design concepts, mood boards, and presentations to illustrate proposed designs. Create detailed drawings, layouts, and specifications using design software. Select and source materials, furniture, fixtures, and finishes considering quality, cost, and style. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure designs are implemented accurately. Oversee project progress, manage timelines, and address any design-related issues that may arise. Keep updated with design trends, materials, and technologies to enhance creativity and innovation in projects. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field. Proven experience in interior design, preferably in residential or commercial projects. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar. Strong creativity, artistic flair, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration. Preferred: Certification from a recognized interior design association. Portfolio showcasing successful design projects. Knowledge of building codes and regulations related to interior design.
