Interior Designer cum Architect

Interior Designer cum Architect should be a multi-talented professional who combines the technical and structural knowledge of an architect with the aesthetic and functional expertise of an interior designer. This role is responsible for both the foundational architectural plans and the detailed interior design elements of a project. The person shall ensure a cohesive and holistic vision from the initial blueprint to the final decor.

Key Responsibilities

• Holistic Design and Planning: Lead the design process from concept to completion, integrating architectural principles with interior design aesthetics. This includes developing initial design concepts, layouts, architectural plans, and 3D visualizations.
• Structural and Spatial Design : Analyze and modify interior spaces, focusing on structural elements such as walls, windows, doors, and electrical and plumbing systems. Ensure that all designs are functional, safe, and compliant with building codes and regulations.
• Material and Furnishing Selection : Select and specify all interior materials, including finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE). Curate colour palettes, lighting schemes, and decorative elements to create a cohesive and inspiring environment;
• Research and source high quality interior products, obtain product samples and organise paint samples etc.,
• Project Management and Coordination : Manage all facets of the design and construction process. This includes coordinating with contractors, engineers, vendors, and other professionals to ensure seamless project execution, adherence to timelines, and budget control.
• Client Relationship Management : Engage directly with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget. Presenting design proposals, gather feedback and provide expert guidance on design trends and space efficiency, ensuring client satisfaction.
• Documentation and Reporting : Prepare and manage detailed drawings, blueprints, schedules, and budgets. Conducting regular site visits to ensure that the design specifications and quality standards are being met during construction.
• Maintain a result-oriented, ethical, and collaborative approach while working with team members.
• Site Visits & Supervision:
• Conduct site visits [weekly/fortnightly/monthly/as required] to track project progress and ensure compliance with design and specifications.
• Report site observations and recommendations to the client and project management team.

Qualification

B.Arch

Key Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years in residential or commercial interior design projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Lumion, and Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of building codes, materials, and site execution processes.
• Ability to handle multiple projects while ensuring timely execution and design excellence.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and client-handling skills.
• A keen eye for aesthetics, space optimization, and detailing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
