Interior Designer cum 2D Draftsmen

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with strong experience in residential and commercial interior projects. The candidate must be able to prepare complete technical drawings, detailed layouts, joinery details, MEP coordination drawings, and site-ready GFC drawings as per design concepts and site requirements.

Key Responsibilities (KRA)1. Interior Layout & Technical Drawings

• Prepare 2D layouts, furniture plans, electrical plans, ceiling plans, flooring plans, and wall elevations.
• Create detailed interior working drawings for residential, commercial, restaurant, and office projects.
• Prepare GFC (Good for Construction) drawings with all dimensions and notations.

2. Detailed Joinery & Section Drawings

• Develop detailed drawings for plywood furniture, wardrobes, kitchen modules, bar counters, reception tables, TV units, wall paneling, ceiling details, etc.
• Prepare sectional details, exploded views, and material specifications for execution.

3. MEP Drawings

• Prepare MEP coordination drawings including electrical, plumbing, drainage, HVAC, and fire-fighting layouts.
• Coordinate architect’s drawings with MEP service requirements.

4. Site Coordination & As-Built Drawings

• Modify drawings based on site measurements, design changes, and client feedback.
• Prepare as-built drawings after site completion.

5. Documentation & Standards

• Maintain drawing records, version control, and project documentation.
• Ensure drawings are prepared as per industry standards, code compliance, and company quality guidelines.

Skills & Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) is mandatory.
• Knowledge of interior detail drawings, joinery details, and furniture design.
• Ability to create electrical, plumbing, ceiling, and HVAC drawings.
• Good understanding of materials used in interiors (plywood, laminates, hardware, lighting, tiles, glass, etc.).
• Minimum 2–5 years experience in interior drafting.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and work under timelines.

Education

• Diploma / ITI in Draftsmanship (Civil/Interior)
• Or any technical qualification with relevant experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
