This position is for a member of the Georgia-Pacific SE&I, Integration team. This person will be a hands-on developer in a Bangalore-based development team through close collaboration with global team members. The ideal candidate would have a sincere passion for helping and developing others as well as be technically proficient in GoLang, Python and any one of the Middleware Integration tools. This person would be a part of a worldwide development team with members based across the United States, Mexico as well as India. What You Will Do
- Proven experience working with REST, SOAP, and various other integration protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define integration strategies.
- Develop Integration strategy enabling data exchange between systems.
- Develop custom integration to enable data exchange between systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in industrial automation and integration.
- Utilize GitHub as a source code repository for version control and collaboration.
- Implement modern integration strategies to ensure seamless data flow.
- Work with streaming platforms (Kinesis, NATS, Kafka) to handle real-time data processing and integration.
- Participate in troubleshooting production issues and applying fixes.
- Flexible to provide on-call support on rotational basis
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science /information technology
- Should have 3-5 Yrs of IT experience
- Hands-on programming experience in GoLang and/or Python.
- Experience deploying API and Microservices in containerized environments using Kubernetes.
- Experience in any of the Middleware Integration tools (preferably MuleSoft)
- Experience with SOA, Microservices, Integration patterns, web services (SOAP, REST) and event-driven architecture
- Experience in enterprise Data Integration technologies including ETL, SQL, XSLT, XML, ANSI, X12EDI, OAGIS and JSON.
- Experience in API management such as Apigee, Kong or any other platform.
- Experience with DevOps and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and GitOps, with a strong grasp of modern CI/CD practices
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AWS services (e.g., S3, Lambda, RDS, EC2) to support cloud-native architectures.
- Experience with modern integration strategies and best practices.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., GitHub).
What Will Put You Ahead
- Hands-on experience with pub/sub ESB implementations.
- Experience implementing connections to various data sources using protocols such as JDBC, HTTPS, LDAP, JMS, SFTP, FTPS, EDIINT AS2, ODATA etc.
- Experience with code development using Gen AI
- Solid understanding of API Gateway, networking principles, and security best practices.
- Experience in collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, design integration solutions.
