DigitalX, the new information technology function at Astellas, is spearheading a value-driven transformation and is seeking Integration Architects to join the FoundationX team in Bengaluru. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Data Integration Pipeline Development:** - Design, build, and optimize data integration pipelines using appropriate tools to ensure data quality, reliability, and scalability. - **Mentorship and Leadership:** - Lead and mentor junior data engineers, share best practices, provide technical guidance, and foster a culture of continuous learning. - **Data Strategy Contribution:** - Identify opportunities for data-driven insights and improvements to contribute to the organization's data strategy. - **Collaboration:** - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions. - **Technical Support:** - Provide technical support to internal users, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure system uptime. - **Continuous Improvement:** - Identify opportunities to optimize performance, security, and maintainability of existing data and platform architecture. - **Stay Updated:** - Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud platforms. **Qualifications:** - **Required:** - Bachelor's Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in building/operating data integrations with strong SQL skills. - 5+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Relevant cloud-based integration certification at a professional level. - Proficiency in RESTful APIs and relevant certifications. - **Preferred:** - Subject Matter Expertise in data architecture/engineering/operations/reporting within the Life Sciences/Pharma industry. - Data Analysis and Automation Skills, including proficiency in identifying, standardizing, and automating critical reporting metrics. - Agile Champion with adherence to DevOps principles and a proven track record with CI/CD pipelines. **Working Environment:** Astellas offers a hybrid working solution to optimize work/life balance, allowing employees to work from the office and home.
