Int Controls & Compliance Specialist

As an Int Controls & Compliance Specialist at Accenture, your role will involve assisting in SOX transformation efforts, including testing control design and operating effectiveness, re-verifying testing procedures, enhancing process narratives and maps, and identifying opportunities for automation. You will support governance over a SOX PRC framework, interact with first-line business stakeholders globally, and lead annual process walkthroughs including the design and maintenance of process narratives and maps. Your responsibilities will also include supporting managers in reviewing controls, assisting the team in the testing of operating effectiveness, executing an end-to-end testing plan, managing resources, identifying control deficiencies, managing issue escalations, and monitoring resolutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining ongoing communication with internal and external auditors, aligning on SOX planning, walkthroughs/testing, audit requests, and deficiency evaluation. You will also be preparing executive management and Audit Committee materials highlighting overall SOX progress and results.
