About the Scheme: ‘LIC Bima Sakhi’ is a newly launched government-supported initiative by Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) to promote women’s empowerment through employment. It encourages women to work as LIC agents (Bima Sakhi) and earn income by selling LIC policies in their communities. Eligibility:   Only female candidates can apply.   Minimum qualification: 10th or 12th pass.   Age: 18 years and above.   Should have basic communication skills and willingness to interact with people. Job Summary: As a Bima Sakhi, you will act as an LIC agent promoting insurance policies, explaining their benefits to customers, and helping them with the application and payment process. Key Responsibilities:   Promote and sell LIC insurance policies in your locality.   Educate customers about different insurance plans and their benefits.   Assist policyholders in filling forms and completing documentation.   Maintain regular follow-ups and build trust with clients.   Meet monthly targets and report progress to the assigned LIC branch.   Attend training programs provided by LIC for skill enhancement.
