The company is looking for immediate joiners with 6-8 years of experience for a Contract to Hire role. As a Product Writer - Insurance Tester, your responsibilities will include testing the Product Writer dictionary, Product Writer, skeleton schemes, RTE, and XRTE. You should have experience in testing rating and product modeling in the insurance sector. Additionally, you will be responsible for task assignment, monitoring, activity progress tracking, schedule management, and defect management. Key requirements for this role include a good understanding of SDLC (Requirements analysis, Planning, Design, Environment/Data set up, Execution, and Reporting), Test Scenarios, Documenting Test Cases, and Collecting Test Data for Functional Testing. You will also be expected to verify Test Environment and conduct Sanity testing, Functional Testing, and Regression Testing. Effective communication, collaboration, and reporting skills are essential for this role. Experience with Jira as a test and defect management tool is preferred. Knowledge of automation testing with Selenium and Java is a plus.
