Role Overview: At EY, you will be joining a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams to shape your future with confidence. As a Java, Spring, portal developer with 6 to 8 years of experience, you will play a key role in supporting applications with a technology stack that includes Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, Angular, and AWS. You will also be responsible for maintaining and supporting applications, conducting testing, managing deployments, and performing root cause analysis & defect fixes. Furthermore, you will design, build, and support the Business Objects environment and services. Key Responsibilities: - Support portal developer for applications with technology stack including Java, Spring boot, Hibernate, Angular, and AWS (Senior 6-8 years). - Flexible to work in shifts (Rotational Shift India Shift, US Shift) and On Call Support on a rostered rotational basis. - Maintain and support applications, enhancements, conduct testing, manage deployments, perform root cause analysis & defect fixes. - Design, build, and support the Business Objects environment and services. - Troubleshoot Business Objects report performance issues and raise SAP cases when needed. - Advanced knowledge of AIX and troubleshoot basic configuration/script & integrations issues. - Work independently and collaboratively with customers and delivery teams on implementations and remote services. - Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills to engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, provide demos, and obtain sign off. - Good understanding of ITIL v3/v4 processes. - Experience in maintenance and support, configuration, testing, integration, and deployment. - Manage middleware applications with various interfaces including Guidewire system. - Design, modify, and implement changes to existing applications built in Java, Spring boot & Hibernate. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate. - Deep understanding of Java, Angular & Hibernate, implementation, architecture, and components. - Experience in Core Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services (SOAP/REST), ANT, SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Castor, any Enterprise Messaging System. - Working knowledge of Tomcat or WebSphere/WebLogic. - Real-time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, preferably from an Insurance domain background. - Understanding and experience of software development best practices. - Certification in ITIL (Good to have), ONE, CFA, AWS.
