Job Description

A new car insurance executive's core responsibilities include selling insurance to new car buyers at dealerships, coordinating with insurance providers, and ensuring timely policy issuance. They also handle customer queries, explain policy details, and manage the renewal process. Furthermore, they may be involved in building client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining accurate records of policy information. Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Client Acquisition:
  • Selling both comprehensive and third-party car insurance to new car buyers at the point of vehicle sale.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities in the insurance market.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Conducting client meetings to understand their needs and recommend appropriate insurance products.
  • Preparing and presenting insurance proposals to clients.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions with clients.
  • Policy Management and Processing:
  • Coordinating with multiple insurance providers to generate competitive quotes.
  • Explaining policy benefits, features, and the claims process to customers.
  • Ensuring timely issuance of motor insurance policies on the date of vehicle delivery.
  • Collecting KYC documents and coordinating with insurers for policy issuance.
  • Maintaining a database of policy expiries and managing renewals.
  • Processing endorsements (name, address, vehicle number changes).
  • Relationship Management and Communication:
  • Liaising with insurance company executives for approvals, endorsements, and claims assistance.
  • Handling customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Providing regular updates to clients on their policy status.
  • Compliance and Reporting:
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Tracking and reporting on sales performance against targets.
  • Maintaining accurate records of policy information and transactions.

Additional Responsibilities (may vary by role):

  • Upselling add-on covers like Zero Depreciation, Engine Protect, etc.
  • Managing and taking decisions on the settlement of non-complex claims.
  • Allocating complex claims to the appropriate teams.
  • Liaising with garages and surveyors for claims processing.
  • Developing marketing strategies to attract new customers.
  • Participating in continuing education programs related to insurance and sales.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,500.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
