As a highly motivated and detail-oriented Application Subject Matter Expert at Capgemini, you will be responsible for offering specialized knowledge in the design and functionality of business applications. Your role involves understanding customers' business processes and products to determine optimal support via application systems. You will review and confirm detailed technical designs for business applications submitted by suppliers, ensuring alignment with business needs. Additionally, you will conduct quality assurance checks on project deliverables and assess supplier estimates. Key Responsibilities: - Possess specialized knowledge in the design and functionality of business applications - Understand customers' business processes and products to determine optimal support via application systems - Review and confirm detailed technical designs for business applications - Conduct quality assurance checks on project deliverables - Assess supplier estimates - Perform impact analyses of application modifications across various components - Estimate the Rough Order of Magnitude for the level of effort and cost associated with new application functionality - Specify and recommend criteria for integration and parallel testing - Assist with implementation activities and resolve system environmental issues as necessary Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in one or more core programming languages such as Java, .NET, or Cobol is required - Intermediate knowledge of tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Power BI - Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools and general usage - Intermediate knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating systems - Working knowledge of AWS and Azure - Experience in report making, focusing on KPIs, and delivering presentations In this role, you will work closely with customers to align processes and products with business unit objectives. You will validate technical designs of business applications, assess supplier estimates, and provide Rough Order of Magnitude estimates for new functionalities. Additionally, you will act as a liaison between Business and IT, assist in Business Case development, support implementation activities, address environmental issues, provide training, and perform impact analyses of application changes. You will also recommend criteria for Integration and Parallel testing. Please note that the position requires proficiency in core programming languages, intermediate knowledge of specific tools, and experience in software and tool skills.
