About the Role :

The Insulation Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring the effective planning, execution, and quality assurance of insulation activities in complex industrial projects, particularly in the Oil Gas and Refinery sectors. This position is vital for maintaining thermal efficiency, protecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the project. Key Responsibilities

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of various insulation types (hot, cold, dual, etc.) and their specifications.
• Basic understanding of PID or line schedule to determine insulation requirements.
• Conduct inspections, modifications, repairs, and optimized usage of insulation materials.
• Reconciliation of insulation materials and management of scrap.

Inspection and Quality Control:

• Inspect insulation materials for quality, compliance, and specifications.
• Perform on-site inspections during and after insulation application.
• Identify gaps or issues during insulation work and recommend corrective actions. Supervision Execution:
• Supervise insulation works, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
• Ensure safe application, removal, and maintenance of insulation.
• Monitor and control the progress of insulation work against schedules.
• Monitor adherence to Safety Protocol and conduct audits.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in insulation works within the Oil Gas or Refinery industry.
• Knowledge of insulation materials, installation techniques, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in inspection procedures and measurement methods for insulation work.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations related to insulation works.
• Ability to read and interpret PID drawings and technical documents.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in refinery projects is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with advanced insulation technologies and inspection tools
