Roles and Responsibilities: To ensure tracking of department objective & take action. To look after calibration of instruments and maintain its records. Carrying out calibration & PM of instrument/ equipment as per schedule. Coordination with inters departments & impart training to sub ordinates. Compliance under various acts pertaining to electrical & instrumentation. Operating & handling of Automation system. Periodical recalibration of all measuring and monitoring instruments. To minimize the consumption of natural resources like fuel, water & energy. Should have basic knowledge of Environment, Health, Safety & quality system. Should have knowledge of electrical wiring and logics like VFDs, Star-delta, DOL, Soft starters etc. To look and prepare SOPs, Qualification documents for calibration of instruments and must have faced internal and external audits. Preventive and breakdown maintenance for instrumentation. Troubleshooting and identify problems by observing instruments electrical devices in operation. Desired Candidate Profile: 2-4 years of experience in instrumentation technician role or similar field. Diploma or ITI in instrumentation required. Strong knowledge of instrumentation principles, including calibration, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using various types of instruments such as sensors, transmitters, controllers etc.
