Urgent Job Opening: Instrument Engineer – PBS Station (Bhilai Steel Plant) We are urgently hiring for a high-priority vacancy for the position of Instrument Engineer at the PBS Station in Bhilai Steel Plant . Location: Bhilai, Chhattisgarh Experience: Minimum 5 years (Candidates with steel plant experience will be given preference) Qualification: B.Tech in Instrumentation or Electrical & Electronics Engineering Job Role and Responsibilities: The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining all instrumentation systems and controls at the PBS station. This includes preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation equipment, troubleshooting issues related to PLCs, control systems, transmitters, and sensors, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of instruments within the plant. Coordination with operations and electrical teams will be essential for smooth functioning. The role also involves maintaining proper documentation of systems, calibrations, and compliance records. Candidate Profile: We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on experience in steel plants or similar heavy industrial environments. The ideal applicant will have a solid understanding of instrumentation schematics, DCS, SCADA, and field instruments, and should be capable of working under pressure while effectively solving technical issues.
