About the Role

Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

PCS 7 / Automation

Engineer who can troubleshoot and program modifications in
Siemens PCS 7
projects (CFC/SCADA, SFC, AS/OS configuration, WinCC, Batch if applicable).
Develop and manage
control logic, interlocks, sequencing
and
alarms
; maintain version control and documentation.
Implement
change management
(MOC) and follow
GxP/GAMP 5
validation practices where applicable.
Integrate PCS 7 with instrumentation, MCCs, VFDs, packages, and
fieldbus
(PROFIBUS/PROFINET) communications.

Instrumentation

Specify, install, calibrate, and maintain
process instruments
: flow, pressure, temperature, level, pH/DO, conductivity, weigh scales, control valves, positioners, analyzers.
Develop and maintain
P&IDs, instrument index, datasheets
, loop diagrams, I/O lists, cable schedules, and calibration plans.
Troubleshoot instrumentation/controls issues, conduct
root cause analysis (RCA)
, and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Reliability & Operations

Drive
preventive and predictive maintenance
strategies to reduce
downtime
; own critical spares strategy.
Support
batch execution
(if PCS 7 Batch), recipe deployment, golden batch targets, and
data integrity
(audit trails, backup/restore).
Experience
58+ years
in instrumentation and process control within
pharma/biotech
, chemical, F&B, or similar regulated/continuous process industries.
3+ years hands-on
with
Siemens PCS 7
engineering, commissioning, and maintenance.
Demonstrated experience in
FAT/SAT
, validation, and
change control
.
