Job Description

As a qualified candidate for the position, your responsibilities will include: Role Overview: You will be responsible for project work, including finalizing instrumentation philosophy for the entire plant, reviewing instrument specifications, preparing Process Control Scheme, supervising electrical and instrumentation works, and collaborating with Chemical Engineers to identify areas for automation. Additionally, you will be involved in maintenance work, troubleshooting electrical equipment failures, managing maintenance activities, and developing/implementing improvements in electrical maintenance programs. Key Responsibilities: - Finalize instrumentation philosophy for the entire plant - Review instrument specifications, Control valve specification, instrument schedule, and floating instrument inquiries - Prepare and review Process Control Scheme - Prepare instrumentation list and MTO for all accessories and mountings - Review approval of vendor drawings, tender documents - Issue Enquiries and Tender Documents, carry out technical appraisal of quotations, and recommend suitable vendors - Work with Chemical Engineers to identify areas for automation - Design and Engineering of complete electrical distribution in the plant - Supervise electrical and instrumentation works - Troubleshoot electrical equipment failures - Manage maintenance and instrumentation activities for safe and smooth operations - Conduct instrumentation application study and modification of plant facilities - Evaluate current preventive/predictive maintenance program and identify areas for improvement - Review electrical system inspection and maintenance reports - Develop and implement improvements in electrical maintenance program - Participate in safety programs and promote safety rules - Conduct and arrange training for staff and contractors - Implement and monitor IMS systems and face relevant audits - Keep record of all stock and supplies, including company's electrical equipment - Help reduce energy costs Qualifications Required: - Minimum 3 years experience in the Chemical/Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry - Minimum 5 years of overall experience - Diploma or Degree in Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering - Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, SAP, etc) - Ability to work with a focus on safety, quality, productivity, and environmental concerns - Excellent oral and written communication skills Please let me know if you need any additional information or clarification regarding the job description.,
