An Instrumentation Engineer plays a vital role in designing, developing, and maintaining systems that measure and control various physical quantities in industrial environments. Their responsibilities typically include: Designing and developing control systems to monitor and regulate processes. Configuring automated systems to improve productivity, reliability, and safety. Integrating sensors with recorders, transmitters, displays, or control systems. Conducting calibration, testing, and maintenance of instruments and systems. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborating with teams to ensure instruments meet project specifications. Troubleshooting and improving performance of control systems and machinery.
