About The Role: Instrumentation & Control Engineering will be involved in Oil, Gas & Energy projects such as supply and installation of Fired Heaters, Reformers, Process skids mounted packages, Gas processing Plants, Incineration packages, . Provide technical input during the design phase for robust controls systems for next generation equipment. Develop and deploy software solutions for hydrogen generation systems focused around process control and optimal system performance Create and manage programs for Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), PCS. Development of Spec, MR, Technical Bid Evaluation and Vendor Print Review of Field Instrument Packages, Control Valves, On Off Valves, Instrument Bulks. Assists in developing or reviews discipline material quantity estimates. Preparation of Complex Loop Control Narratives, Cause and Effect Matrix for Process and F&G System, logic narratives. Development of I/O data base for DCS, SIS, F&G and Vendor Packages. Good working knowledge of the control system platform(s) of at least one of the following vendors; ABB, Emerson, Honeywell, Yokogawa. Preparation of Design Criteria for Controls and Instrumentation. Create and manage methods for data acquisition and interpretation of system information Perform system tests to ensure that software and automation solutions are effective and reliable both pre and post deployment Create and provide training to users on system interfacing and troubleshooting Refine system automation and software solutions based upon field data and stakeholder input Develop, read, and interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Schematics as needed Assist in developing tracking indicators and display for system performance Perform all other duties as assigned Prepare / provide guidance for preparation of control system (BPCS, ESD, F&G, PCS etc) design, procurement, and implementation. Review Instrument hook-up, installation, and location design. Requisitions for quotation and for purchase Review vendor documents and quotations for compliance with project requirements. Participation in 3D Model Review Sessions. About Your profile: BE degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Information Systems or other relevant field of study 8 Years or more years of relevant work history EPC, PMC & EPCM Companies predominantly in Oil and Gas. Prior experience with Oil & gas processing preferred Experience with PLC Programming Ladder Logic, Functional Block Diagram, Sequential Flow Charts HMI Programming Have experience of any of them - Schneider automation suite , Allen Bradley, Honey well , Siemens or Yokogawa Modbus , Profibus Protocol Microsoft Office suite Demonstrated analytical abilities with strong attention to detail Superior communication skills Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task effectively Excellent follow-through Must be driven and self-motivated Must possess the highest ethical standards and a commitment to work quality Knowledge and experience in the applicable software of the discipline, and other common software as Autocad and Microsoft Office applications. Expertise of PLC programming of the main international specialist companies (Rockwell, Siemens, ). Expertise in the definition of Oil & Gas Plant Control Architectures. Expertise in SCADA and distributed control system (DCS) systems. Exprtise in Safety Instrumented System (SIS, ESD). Expertise in Machine monitoring systems (MMS). Knowledge in Intools database (Smart Plant Instrumentation), P&IDs. Professional English level. Required Knowledge And Skills Basic technical knowledge of Control System engineering in Oil and Gas. Thorough knowledge of discipline engineering techniques, the design of engineered systems, and engineering and design calculations. Understanding of industry regulatory codes and standards. Broad knowledge of the application of engineering to plant constructability as applied to construction methods and materials. Job knowledge of various types of field Instrumentation, PCS, DCS, PLC, Hazardous areas is essential.
