Instrument Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities :
Deliver detailed designs and specifications for instrumentation systems that meet client requirements, project objectives, and regulatory standards.Preparation of instrument data sheets, specifications, and P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) on time and within budget.Ensure effective integration of instrumentation systems into the overall process control and automation systems in the design phase.Ensure all instrumentation designs adhere to industry standards and comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Timely resolution of any technical problems and support during commissioning, minimizing project delays.Well-organized project documentation, including design reports, specifications, and compliance records, is delivered and maintained.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Instrumentation EngineeringExperience in instrumentation engineering, preferably in the oil and gas industry.Knowledge of instrumentation systems, control systems (DCS, PLC), and industry standards (ISA, IEC, API).Familiarity with design tools like AutoCAD, SmartPlant, or similar software.Strong understanding of safety systems, control valves, field instrumentation, and related equipment.

Desired Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Knowledge of HAZOP, SIL, and other safety studies.
