Instructional Designer- Technical editing

Job Description

Role & responsibilities : 1. Design and develop interactive learning experiences, including eLearning modules, Web based training (WBT), instructor-led training (ILT) and virtual instructor-led training (vILT). 2. Analyse learning needs and perform content gap analysis in collaboration with subject matter experts (SMEs). 3. Apply instructional design methodologies to create effective and engaging content. 4. Develop storyboards, scripts, assessments, job aids, and supporting documentation. 5. Use eLearning authoring tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS). 6. Ensure learning content aligns with business goals and enhances learner performance. 7. Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and learners to continuously improve instructional materials. Maintain project timelines and communicate progress with key stakeholders. Preferred candidate profile : Formal education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, Educational Technology, or a related field. Professional experience: About 4-5 years of experience in instructional design or E- Learning creation Defined competencies: Proficient in instructional design tools and LMS. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with cross-functional teams and SMEs. Exposure to pump industry in service related functions and exposure to related technical documentation shall be preferred. Very good knowledge of pump, pump assembly and service related topics. Strong project management and organizational skills. Good technical understanding with inclination for documentation. Knowledge of SCORM or other eLearning standards is a plus.. Certification in instructional design is a plus. Knowledge of SAP Enable Now is plus.
