Established more than 150 years ago in Germany, TV SD is a leading global provider of technical services with more than 28,000 highly skilled employees across 1,000 offices worldwide TV SD offers a wide range of testing & product certification, inspection, auditing & system certification, training and knowledge services We are a premium quality, safety, and sustainability solutions provider Role Overview The Inspection Engineer will be responsible for carrying out inspection, supervision, and quality assurance activities in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and client requirements The role involves ensuring compliance, maintaining documentation, and supporting technical evaluations across assigned projects Key Responsibilities Carry out inspection and supervision activities as per applicable codes, standards, and specifications Perform stage-wise, final, and in-process inspections of materials, equipment, and site activities Review technical documents, drawings, WPS/PQR, QAP/ITP, and other project-related documents Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, NCRs, and documentation as required Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines at all times Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams for inspection requirements Monitor fabrication, welding, NDT activities, and equipment testing processes Verify material certificates, calibration records, and compliance documents Identify deviations, raise issues proactively, and ensure corrective actions are implemented Support audits, technical assessments, and third-party inspections as needed Required Qualifications And Experience Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline Hands-on experience in inspection, quality assurance, fabrication, or manufacturing Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME, API, ISO, ASTM, etc) Experience in welding inspection, NDT processes, and stage inspection activities Certification such as CSWIP 3 1, AWS-CWI, NDT Level II, or similar will be an added advantage Strong understanding of technical drawings and engineering documents Key Skills Strong technical and analytical ability Knowledge of industry codes and regulatory requirements Good communication and report-writing skills Ability to work independently and manage field/site activities Attention to detail and strong problem-solving approach Work Environment Field/site-based role with travel as per project requirements Interaction with clients, contractors, and technical teams We test, we audit, we inspect, we advise We never stop challenging ourselves for the safety of society and its people We breathe technology, we strive for professional excellence, and we leave a mark We take the future into our hands We are TV SD Work Area: Industrial Plants, Energy & Environmental Technology Country/Region: India Job Location: Noida Working Model : Field Work Employment Type: Full time / temporary Company: TUV SUD South Asia Ltd Org Unit Code: CPI Requisition ID: 2835 Duration in months (if limited contract): 12
