Job Description

You will be responsible for selling the company's products, systems, and services via telephone or electronic means to customers within your assigned territory, industry, or accounts. Your primary goal will be to close sales on products, systems, and services, which may involve generating prospective customers through cold calling and following up on sales leads. Sales activities may include multichannel, inbound, and outbound approaches. In this role, you will need to have a deep technical knowledge of the products, systems, and services offered by the company, which may include understanding contract documentation. You may be managing large, diverse, and complex territories and/or products. It is important to stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape, and provide activity and forecast reports as required. As a sales representative, you will act as the main point of contact between the company and the customer, focusing on acquiring new customers while also nurturing and expanding the existing customer base. You may work independently as the sole sales representative for your assigned territory, industry, accounts, and/or products, and establish and maintain relationships with channel partners. While this role does not involve extensive business travel or work outside the office, you will be expected to have a strong understanding of the company's offerings and be able to direct customers to relevant resources for information.
