Inside Sales Intern

Job Purpose

To generate actionable market intelligence and qualified business leads through comprehensive research, data collection, lead tracking, and cross-team collaboration, supporting business growth and strategic marketing initiatives.

Role & responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research on emerging and target B&C brands, products, and competitors in India and globally to support new customer acquisition.
• Gather and maintain accurate data on procurement and packaging contacts and manufacturing sites for targeted outreach.
• Track, update, and manage all incoming enquiries from the website and tradeshows to convert leads into new customers.
• Allocate new business enquiries to KAMs and ensure timely follow-up to drive customer delight and conversion.
• Prepare clear, impactful pitch decks, trackers, and reports using PowerPoint and Excel for engaging customer presentations.
• Visit retail stores occasionally to collect competitor product data to refine strategies for customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Provide fresh content ideas for social media to attract prospects and share enquiry performance data to measure marketing ROI.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to design engaging tradeshow flyers and branding materials that appeal to potential and existing customers.
• Conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups to gather consumer insights that enhance customer experience.
• Analyze industry data and trends to guide strategies for new customer acquisition and delight.
• Present research findings and actionable insights to stakeholders to strengthen customer-focused decisions.
• Ensure research processes follow ethical standards and drive continuous improvement for customer delight and business growth

Preferred candidate profile

• 1 to 3 years of experience in market research, business development support, or a similar role (preferred).
• Experience with data collection tools, CRM systems, or enquiry tracking software is an advantage.
