Innovation & Experimentation Lead, Fin Crime Technology, Director

Role Overview: As an Innovation Technology Lead, Director based in India, you will play a crucial role in driving experimentation, providing strategic guidance, and promoting an innovation approach throughout the organization. Your valuable exposure and industry insights will be utilized to build relationships with colleagues across the bank and make commercially focused decisions to create long-term value. Key Responsibilities: - Drive forward and role model best practices through engineering processes and Agile behavior - Maintain a perspective on the current and target innovation and partnerships technology ecosystem - Influence the development of business strategies at an organizational level - Identify new and creative innovative solutions to solve business problems - Champion the use of the latest AI/ML/analytical & engineering methods to deliver value for customers and stakeholders - Consult, lead, and educate global technical, data, and business teams for consistent understanding - Horizon scan for emerging trends, bringing valuable insights and new ideas into the conversation - Seek out and utilize continuous feedback to foster adaptive design and engineering practices Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 15 years experience across engineering, data science, financial crime, or fraud innovation and analysis - 7 years leadership experience in data, technology, or financial crime - Expert knowledge of new and emerging analytical and technical trends in financial crime detection & investigation - At least one technical or financial crime qualification - Experience of developing, syndicating, and communicating creative solutions, ideas, designs, and proposals for action - Understanding of industry analysis and detection techniques across data and computer science - Deep understanding of financial crime risk and compliance, including anti-money laundering (AML), fraud detection, and regulatory requirements - Experience of working with business solution vendors, technology vendors, and products within the market - Strong problem-solving skills and a creative mindset to develop innovative solutions and drive the adoption of new technologies in combating financial crime,
